If the blue lines would be replaced with black, it would be much better. Anyway, good work. Texture seems nice. :)

I actually like a bit of color, especially with Pirate armors it's very appropriate, I think - maybe you could even try a very colorful version, since historically pirates just mixed and matched their clothes with whatever they could find, and oftentimes looked rather "flamboyant".
